On-Line Newsletter March 9, 2006 CSC Meeting at Cambridge Cycle & Sport CSC will be holding its monthly meeting at Cambridge Cycle and Sport at 6:30 p.m. Patrick Leslie will be doing a clinic on proper bike fit. This will be a great clinic to get everyone on the right track for the 2006 cycling season. We will also be holding our regular meeting. Some of the areas that will be discussed in the meeting will be the review of the proposed Bi Laws, Board of Directors nominations and more so please try and attend this meeting. December 29, 2005 New Beginnings: Sport Club Repairs Bikes On December 10, 2005 members of the Cambridge Cycle & CSC (Sport & Cycle Sport Club) did bike repairs to benefit the New Beginnings Youth & Family Service Center. The Cambridge Police Department donated 14 bikes to the center for the families who were in need of them. Members of the Sport Club took these bicycles and repaired those that were damaged and replaced those that could not be repaired. In the top two photos members of CSC are shown working on these bikes. In the bottom photo are CSC members, pictured are the front row, from left are Reed Geyer and Tim Haynes. Back row, Wally Reed, Kyle Reed and Gil Passwaters. Not pictured is Michael Larrimore. December 27, 2005 We will be holding our regular club meeting at 6:30 pm on January 12, 2006. The meeting will be held at Easton Cycle & Sport. Some of the topic that we will be discussing will be Rails to Trails project in Cambridge, New Sponsors, up coming rides, selection of ride leaders for the month of March and more. Please come out and join us and bring a guest along as well. We have a new sponsor, Benson & Mangold is an official sponsor of CSC. We would like to thank them for there support. CSC had a ride on Saturday, the members in attendance where Tim Haynes, Gil Passwaters and Mike Larrimore we also had one guest rider John Fairhall. John e-mailed me and would like to become a member of CSC so welcome John. We will be riding again on Wednesday December 28, 2005 from Easton Cycle & Sport. The ride will leave at 9:00 a.m. There will also be a ride on New Year's Day leaving Cambridge Cycle & Sport at 12:30 p.m. for all who would like to bring in the New Year with a bike ride. November 20, 2005 Our inaugural meeting will be held December 1, 2005, 7:00PM at ECS (Easton Cycle and Sport) located at 723 Goldsborough St. Easton, MD. The club will encompass all experience and levels of cyclist, so come on out, meet everyone, join us for a great time and help plan for the future of the club.
